President and CEO of GE India confirms keynote status!

We are extremely excited to announce that Mr. Tejpreet S. Chopra, President and CEO of GE India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be a keynote speaker at the Conference. Mr. Chopra is responsible for directing GE’s strategies for growth in the country.

Prior to assuming his current role, Tejpreet served as President & CEO of GE Commercial Finance in India. He successfully restructured and expanded the business thereby establishing GE Commercial Finance as one of the premier financial institutions in India. Earlier, he held positions in marketing, structured finance and risk management, in Stamford and Hong Kong for GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS). In 2005, he moved from the unit’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, to open GECAS’s, office in Delhi. As Senior Vice-President and Country Head-India for GECAS, Tejpreet arranged over US$1 billion in financing for India’s growing airline industry.

Tejpreet is involved in various industry associations. He is a member of the National Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and on the National Executive Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM).

Vinod Dham confirmed as keynote speaker

Earlier today, Mr. Vinod Dham accepted our request to be a keynote speaker at the Conference. Needless to say, we are extremely excited about this opportunity. As a pioneer in the technology industry, Vinod (Vin) Dham is the acknowledged “Father of the Pentium” microprocessor. He successfully executed on his previous fund, NewPath Ventures, and is building NEA-IndoUS Ventures on similar principles. In 1993, Vin was named as one of the top 25 executives in the computer industry in America. In 1999, he was named as one of the top 100 most influential Asian Americans of the decade. In 2000, Vin was appointed to serve on the US President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
